You may already know that I make all our bread. It's so yummy, it saves us a heap of money, and it really impresses people. You should try it.
Anyway. I make it so often that I don't really think about it much anymore. I found out that can be a problem.
After 90 minutes in the bread machine, I expected to open the lid and see fragrant, soft bread dough, ready to be kneaded and baked. Instead, I got this.
This is what happens when you get too busy and forget the yeast in your bread. Yes, the YEAST. Needless to say, we did not have sandwiches on this particular day.

Ooh! Tell me how you like it! I've been debating buying a mill. I think it would be worth it, but I don't know where to buy berries in less than 100lb increments.
