Well, school started on Monday and we all survived the first week!

It wasn't all smooth sailing but we're settling in to a pattern and it's getting better. Right now our subjects of discovery are Colonial America (this week was John Smith and Pocohontas), chemistry, Bible, math, and language (reading, writing, spelling, grammar). We're doing some memory work, too, and if I can figure out how to post videos here I'll get a few.

This is us making molecules. You may recognize water and carbon dioxide.

The big news this week - Leslea lost another tooth! That makes six, total.

Next week soccer starts! All three kids are playing this fall. This is our first soccer season. I'll let you know how all the scheduling goes. So far I only have Leslea's practice schedule and she's on for Tuesday and Thursday night practices and a game on Saturday morning. This could make for a busy fall...
